From Interstate 95 (either north bound or south bound)

Take Exit # 373/129 signs say "Fernandina beach", "Yulee", and "Amelia Island"- proceed east, about 10 miles, go over the large bridge that crosses the intercoastal waterway. You will be on hwy A-1-A; it will eventually become south 8th street. The road will go from a four lane divided road to a three lane (two lanes with a center turn lane). After in goes to three lanes, you are looking for the third traffic light (the first will be gum street, then beech street, the third light will be "Centre and Atlantic" street. Turn left, into the historic downtown area. Go five blocks and turn left onto south 3rd street. We're a half a block up on the left, 22 South 3rd street.(An easy landmark is our historic redbrick courthouse on your left - two blocks after that turn left). If you miss our street, just ask; everyone knows where the Florida house is located.

From Florida's West Coast via Interstate 75

We recommend exit # 74 (first exit of four for Gainesville), stay on that road past the Gainesville airport to Waldo (watch your speed!) you will be on hwy 301 north, go through the towns of Starke and Lawtey (again watch your speed!) proceed north to Baldwin, (you will cross under interstate 10) stay northbound on hwy 301 to Callahan. At the traffic light in Callahan you will cross hwy us 1. Do not turn left (301 north turns left there) you will be on Fla. road 200 - also known as hwy A-1-A. Continue on A-1-A, you will go under Interstate 95. From there see the directions above for I-95

From Interstate 10 Eastbound

Take exit # 50 at Baldwin, go back under the interstate a short distance to Baldwin, follow hwy 301 north to Callahan - and follow the directions from Callahan to hwy A-1-A listed above and onto Amelia Island.

From Interstate 75 (Atlanta area & points north)

We recommend I-75 southbound to just above Macon, turn southbound onto I-16 towards Savannah, then southbound on Interstate 95. (See directions at top from Interstate 95).
